After working in the industry for larger organisations, I decided the time was right to open up my own Independent Funeral Directors to offer that personal service that the big companies couldn’t offer.

They trade under a long established family name but are owned and operated by a national chain, with fixed packages and times that only suited them. As this is my own Independent Funeral Directors, I personally oversee all funerals.

Your loved one will be brought into our care and looked after by us until the day of the funeral. We have our own chapel of rest that is available to you, to spend as much time needed with your loved one at no extra charge.

We can also offer different vehicles such as motor bike hearse, horse drawn to name a few.

We go the extra mile at Mulberry Funeral Directors, as a small independent funeral directors we can be more flexible at arranging a funeral to suit you and your loved ones needs and wishes.

We understand that money can be a struggle in this sad and difficult time, we can offer payment plans up to 4 years after the funeral has taken place, please see this service offered by Funeral Safe.

The Team from the first telephone call to the collection of the ashes provided exceptionally kind, caring and professional support, guidance and service. Robin, Sarah and Tina were absolutely amazing when it came to arranging my sisters funeral. The compassion, care and ease of process was second to none. Everything flowed on the day perfectly and so many people commented on the dignified and smooth service Mulberry Funeral Service provided. After using another provider that is part of a chain in the past. I would never go back....the difference was night and day.This independant service is head and shoulders above the rest and provide a service to be very proud of. I could not have used another Funeral Directors better than Mulberry. Robin and his team have been incredible throughout, from the funeral 15 months ago until now. Very professional, caring and nothing was any trouble. I 100% would recommend their services. They made my experience less painful as they explained everything and guided me through my grief.
